Men's Golf Club
Around since the beginning, co-founder, I. Newton Swift, was the first Men's Club
President. The tradition and love of the game continues today in its members.
Women's Golf Association
Unquestionable, the most active of Washtenaw's organizations has been the
Women's Golf Association. It spearheaded the formation of the Detroit District
Women's Golf Association and pioneered a junior program at Washtenaw that has
been widely copied by other clubs.
Junior Golf Program
Ask almost any of the former professionals what they remember about their years
at Washtenaw Country Club and their answer is the same: "the junior golf program!"
Indeed Washtenaw's junior golf program has been the envy of clubs throughout the
state and its operational pattern highly copied. A half-dozen of the participants
have become golf professionals.
Golf Outings
Washtenaw Country Club offers flawless golf events at one of Michigan’s oldest and most
traditional golf courses. Whether you are conducting a fund raiser or company outing,
our experience staff will take care of all the details to give you a truly memorable day.
