On July 25th, 1899, a contract was signed with Joseph Hutting to build a clubhouse at
a cost of $855. It opened for business a month later on August 26th. Washtenaw's
clubhouse would receive many new looks over the years most of which you can see in the
history section. The latest update was finished in
spring of 2000. A $2.5 million renovation
project was adopted for the clubhouse. The renovation put a new face on the century-old
club for the Centennial Celebration. Here's a brief look at the updated facilities:

Formal Dining Area
For a smaller but elegant setting, visit out Formal Dining Area with a beautiful view
of the course.

Our excellent bar staff can serve up your favorite drink as you relax in front of
the big screen TV after a long day on the course.

Men's Locker Room
The open, rustic look provides a great old style golf atmosphere. There is also
an attendant who can service many of your needs, such as a cleat cleaning and
shoe polish.

In addition to the storage facilities, the room also contains a very nice lounge
area for socializing.

Patio Area
Outside the clubhouse, one can enjoy the beautiful weather from our patio and provides
a excellent view of the putting green, driving range and first tee.

Save on the trouble lugging your bags to and from the club. Washtenaw provides facilities
to safely store your clubs on the premises.
